After hearing the clear call from God they moved to North Vancouver Canada with their three amazing children Levi, Alice and Eden from Canberra Australia to pioneer Avant Life Church.
Their hearts for people, leadership development and community engagement has helped establish Avant Life Church as a thriving, relevant and transformational Christ centred community.

Jachin Mullen is the lead pastor of Home Church, an ever growing multi-site church with over 100 locations internationally. He has a passion for preaching the gospel and seeing people decide to follow Jesus.
Jachin is musically gifted, having written and recorded songs with Integrity Music, Maranatha Music, and produced several of his own projects.

Michael Leyde is a passionate worship leader, musician, Pastor and Gifted Speaker whose ministry is rooted in his personal journey of transformation. After years spent navigating drug use and broken relationships, Michael found life-altering redemption and healing through his relationship with Jesus Christ. His music ministry reflects this powerful story, marked by honest and heartfelt worship that is both simple and profound.
Today, as part of The Pursuit ministry, Michael continues to lead others into authentic worship, sharing his message of hope and restoration. His music and teachings, such as the sermon "The Authority of the Believer," emphasize a personal and powerful connection with God. Michael's story serves as a testament to the healing power of faith and the genuine heart of worship.

David Ryan Cook

Born and raised in Florida, David is an alumnus of Southeastern University. After His time at SEU, David spent time in Nashville as a recording artist, and he then joined the staff as a worship pastor at the city campus of Hillsong Church based in Sydney, Australia.
In 2016, David and his wife, Corina, relocated back to the states where they began to lead SEU Worship into its current sound and season. With his background and many different experiences in the ministry context, David leads with a unique prophetic edge. Now based in Costa Mesa, California, David and his family serve on staff at Oceans Church. Whilst building Oceans Music and enjoying the humidity free climate of So-Cal, David still serves as a worship artist and songwriter with SEU Worship.
